Triparound Software Updates
It is clear that the swift delivery of goods and services via software is critical to enterprise success in today’s economy.
Business dynamics though are changing constantly, making it difficult for your software capabilities to keep up.
But in an increasingly digital world, it’s often your software and systems that make or break your ability to adapt, grow and remain competitive.
But this is not enough.
As enterprises upgrade or change their technologies, they must ensure compatibility with old systems and data formats that are still in use. ~ Gartner’s IT Glossary
In this increasingly digital world, Triparound recognizes the critical need to deliver an online experience for supporting and nurturing prospects along the entire customer journey. That’s why we upgraded our IT stack in order to:
- improve our current services and at the same time our customers’ satisfaction by meeting UX and performance standards
- experience more reliable processes and reduced risks with a better functioning system and containerized applications
- significantly upgrade existing security and privacy level, and
- better support our business goals and processes
More specifically, our team implemented a variety of individual and synergistic modernization tasks, such as:
1. Core System Re-architecture
Having user experience and ease of use as a top priority, Triparound’s team adopted the idea to split the application into a set of smaller, interconnected services.
In our software, a main Triparound service typically implements a set of distinct features or functionality, such as booking management and customer management.
Each service has its own architecture consisting of business logic along with various adapters, allowing us to successfully tackle the problem of complexity and scalability.
The aforementioned services decomposition allowed us to significantly upgrade core business concepts within our solution, such as product availability and pricing.
This upgrade process successfully addressed new customers’ requirements increasing the ability to better and more efficiently configure and parameterize our software in order to meet specific business and organizational needs.
2. User Management Reorganization
The brand-new implementation of an identity management system allows our software to extend its access to data and services across a variety of internal applications, external apps (i.e. mobile), and SaaS tools without compromising security.
By providing to our customers greater access to their data and their supply chain (i.e. suppliers, resellers, etc.) we enable them to drive collaboration throughout their organizations, enhancing productivity, employee satisfaction, and, ultimately, their revenue, reducing at the same time the risks of internal and external data breaches, at the same time.
3. UI/UX Webification
We adopted a new web interface with more advanced functionality using AngularJS, which is especially suited for big enterprise applications, as our new frontend javascript framework.
In a more technical approach this new technology allows our new Triparound web application to have more features, such as two-way data binding, REST utilization capabilities, MVC-based pattern, deep linking, form validation, dependency injection, localization, and a full testing environment.
As customer behavior and enterprise norms shift, so do business applications. Triparound’s team is dedicated to constantly moving forward, improving our software as we move alongside your organization towards a modern, digital future.
